This month’s wallpaper is inspired by textiles. I think it would be so fun to be a textile designer because I love creating patterns and experimenting with different color combinations. I hope you enjoy the new design! Please note that these images are for personal, non-profit use only.

A few weeks ago, my best friends from college all got together to celebrate two of the girls who are expecting. We had a weekend of baby shower activities and it was so fun! I volunteered to design the invitations and since one of the girls will be having a girl and the other a boy, I used a gender neutral color palette and design.

One of the activities that we had so much fun doing since we all went to art school, was decorating onesies. We bought a couple packs of plain, white onesies and some puff paint and created one-of-a-kind onesies for the mothers-to-be. Check out a few of our designs below!

For the shower decorations, I used some paper that matched the colors on the invitations to make bunting. I also bought lots of tissue paper to make big paper poms. All of these were really easy to make and very inexpensive.

It was such a great weekend! Congratulations to Brittney and Gabby!

I just entered a Minted challenge and I need your support! I have been meaning to do this for a while and I am so glad I went a few days ago to check out the newest contest because the prizes are amazing. Chronicle Books has teamed up with Minted and will be choosing 4 designs to be part of a stationery collection to be sold in stores around the world. I have entered 13 designs. Check them out and give them high ratings! You have to sign up for an account to rate, but it’s free and easy to do. Thanks everyone!

I feel a little funny admitting that I love the show Dexter, but I do. Look at these amazing posters that summarize each season’s story designed by Mattson Creative.

A couple of my friends threw a baby shower for another friend of mine and I volunteered to design the invitations. I have a lot of fun designing invitations for parties, especially baby showers. I think I enjoy it so much because I like to challenge myself to not use anything cliche, like baby bottles or rattles, wooden blocks, or an illustrated pregnant lady. Below is the final design and I am very happy with the way it turned out!

A friend requested that I put a fox in my next desktop design. It was a little bit of a challenge for me because I don’t illustrate as much as I used to, but it was a lot of fun! I hope you like it, friend. I hope everyone else enjoys using it this month, too. Please note that these images are for personal, non-profit use only.
