I just entered a Minted challenge and I need your support! A couple of my friends threw a baby shower for another friend of mine and I volunteered to design the invitations. I have a lot of fun designing invitations for parties, especially baby showers. I think I enjoy it so much because I like to challenge myself to not use anything cliche, like baby bottles or rattles, wooden blocks, or an illustrated pregnant lady. Below is the final design and I am very happy with the way it turned out!
While submitting some work to my alma mater’s annual holiday bazaar, I was asked to produce some work to go in the school’s new downtown shop called 477store. This new store will sell work by Memphis College of Art students, alumni, and faculty. I have been working on my own little line of stationery, greeting cards, invitations, etc. so I thought this would be a great starting point to get some of my paper goods out into the world. Above are a few of my greeting cards that will be for sale. Check out the store for it’s grand opening this Friday if you live in Memphis. This Friday is also the Art Trolley Tour so it’s sure to be a great night for the new store!
I thought I could introduce myself by showing some of my work. I work as a stationery designer, but in my free time I also enjoy photography, sewing, crafting, painting, and graphic design. I hope you like the gallery!
